Common Questions Before Ordering

Confirm the project conditions, applicable standard and required test documents before ordering. Our export and technical teams can assist with product selection, custom roll planning and delivery coordination.

Steel-Plastic Geogrid

01 Which tensile strength value should be used for geogrid selection?

Ultimate tensile strength alone is not sufficient. The design may require strength at a specified strain, junction efficiency, creep reduction, installation-damage and durability factors, leading to a long-term design strength. Confirm whether the specification calls for index strength or design strength before comparing quotations.

02 What is the correct installation sequence for reinforced road bases?

Prepare and compact the subgrade, place the reinforcement flat in the specified orientation, maintain overlaps or mechanical connections, anchor where required, then spread and compact fill without displacing the product. Equipment should not turn or brake directly on exposed reinforcement. The approved method statement governs the final sequence.

03 How are traffic loads and roadway class considered in product selection?

Provide axle load, traffic repetitions or design traffic, subgrade strength, aggregate properties, drainage, design life and pavement section. Temporary access roads, rural roads, highways, railways and working platforms require different verification. Our technical team can match available products to the design criteria but does not replace the project designer.

04 Can the factory customize dimensions and provide technical support?

Within production capability, roll or panel dimensions, strength grade, color, perforation, welding details, labels and export packaging can be reviewed for customization. We can provide product data, batch inspection, laying details and remote or agreed on-site guidance. Final structural design remains the responsibility of the project engineer.
