Project Conditions & Risks
Smooth or textured HDPE liners, filament geotextiles and GCL are combined according to leachate chemistry, slope angle, groundwater and closure settlement, with traceable seam and penetration testing.
Site challenge
Multiple trades, leachate exposure and closure settlement amplify defects at seams, penetrations and slope toes.
Failure risk
Wrong layer sequence, premature GCL hydration, blocked drainage or missed repairs can create concealed defects that are difficult to correct.
Acceptance focus
Record material lots, layer sequence, seam testing, repairs and continuity of leachate collection and leakage-detection systems by area.

System Components & Material Functions
Primary barrier
Smooth or textured HDPE must be selected from the approved design and project-specific liner/soil and liner/geotextile interface tests, not by location name alone.
Composite low-permeability layer
GCL may form a composite barrier with HDPE after hydration, overlap and leachate-compatibility conditions are verified.
Protection, collection and detection
Geotextile protects the liner. Leachate collection, drainage and liner-integrity or leakage-detection provisions must be coordinated separately within the confirmed supply scope.

Installation & Quality Control
- 01
Follow the approved multilayer sequence and obtain signed acceptance before covering each layer.
- 02
Qualify welds and test dual-track seams by air pressure; test extrusion and inaccessible details by the approved NDT method, perform destructive peel/shear sampling under CQA, and retest repairs.
- 03
Control traffic, stockpiles and cover placement to avoid crushing drainage components or puncturing accepted barrier layers.
Recommended Equipment & Process Control
Dual-track hot-wedge welder, extrusion welder, hot-air gun, vacuum box, pressure gauge, thickness gauge and spark tester where specified.
Location-Based Selection & Acceptance
This page supports preliminary material comparison, technical communication and quotation preparation. It does not replace project design, stability or hydraulic calculations, applicable laws or local regulations. Final specifications, layer sequence, details, accessories and supply scope are governed by approved drawings, project specifications and the confirmed order.
Quotation and supply confirmation must also define the applicable standard and edition, roll dimensions and tolerances, lot testing and roll traceability, third-party verification, packing/container loading, phased delivery and warranty boundaries.
Supply boundary
Factory supply covers only the products, accessories, documents and services expressly listed in the confirmed order. Civil works, design calculations, drainage, anchorage and third-party system components remain with the responsible project parties unless separately agreed.
Standards & document control
Manufacturing reference specifications establish baseline product or MQC requirements; they do not replace the project specification. Confirm the governing edition, test methods, acceptance values, CQA plan and local regulatory requirements before award.
