GB/T 17643-2025: What Geomembrane Procurement Documents Need to Change?

Review the standard edition, product classification, test methods and acceptance wording instead of simply replacing the year in an old specification.

GB/T 17643-2025 took effect on 1 November 2025. Projects using this Chinese standard should review tender templates, product classifications, test reports and acceptance clauses, then formally clarify which edition governs existing contracts.

01

Confirm the governing contract basis

Identify the edition named in the signed contract, approved submittal and inspection plan. A newer publication does not automatically rewrite an existing agreement.

02

Rebuild the compliance matrix

Map every purchase requirement to the corresponding product class, property, unit and test method in the adopted edition. Flag renamed or newly grouped items for formal clarification.

03

Align reports and acceptance records

Update supplier report templates, third-party instructions and site acceptance forms together so that samples, methods and pass criteria remain consistent.
