Geosynthetics for Hot Climates: Selection and Storage Guide for Southeast Asia and the Middle East

Long-term UV exposure, rolling surface temperature, storage and sealing windows are included in the model, reducing heat aging and construction uncontrollability.

Acceptance points and common risks

  • Use the temperature to focusUncorrosive materials do not represent long-term mechanical and antioxidant qualification.
  • The paper is exposed for a long timeThe effects of packaging damage, deformation of the cylinder core and local heat accumulation have been observed.
  • Fixed brake parametersChanges in membrane surface temperature on the same day may also require re-testing.

Project judgments and procurement conclusions

The key for high-temperature areas is not to ask how much zinc is resistant to heat, but to differentiate between the operating temperature of the medium, the temperature of the sub-membrane under the sun's radiation, the short-term construction temperature and the temperature of the container closure. The burning of the HDPE film should focus on the time of oxidation induction, carbon black dispersion and stress resistance cracking; long-term exposure systems also need to be specifically verified for UV, thermal oxidation aging and wind hardening.

Steps to landing

  • Working conditions at the temperature

The system provides the environment, membrane surface, liquid and transport temperature respectively.

  • Confirmed exposure period

Distinguish between construction exposure, periodic exposure and permanent exposure.

  • Requesting long-term data

Verify the standard version, sample thickness and batch report.

  • Developing a window for construction

The program is designed to be used for testing, shading and temporary load.
